“Wake Up Call” screencaptures
Posted by Lisa on November 5th, 2008

I took the time today to make screencaptures of Hayden’s music video for “Wake Up Call”.  Both versions plus the Candies commercial have been capped and added.  It’s all but impossible to find a decent quality version of the video but as soon I as find one I will add better screencaps.

Hayden to make a documentary

Teen actress Hayden Panettiere is set to follow in the footsteps of former U.S. vice president Al Gore - by releasing a film modelled after his Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth.
The Heroes star, 18, made waves last November (07) when she took part in a protest against the slaughtering of dolphins in the historic whaling town of Taiji, Japan - resulting in local authorities issuing a warrant for her arrest.
Since then, she has further championed the cause by lending her name to the Save The Whales Again! campaign and heading to Washington D.C. to confront the Japanese, Icelandic and Norwegian embassies about their hunting practices.
Now one of her main priorities is an informative movie about the whaling industry, which she is convinced will be as groundbreaking as Gore’s global warming expose.
She tells British magazine Grazia, “It’s going to be the Inconvenient Truth of the oceans.”

“What if you could take a drug and never have to fall asleep?”

Rest coverThat sounds like a handy pharmaceutical to have if you’re attending the New York Comic-Con, like thousands of other comic fans this weekend. CBR News has naturally been covering the “madness,” and we were fortunate enough to sit down with actor Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli of “Heroes”) and his producing partner Russ Cundiff (”It’s a Mall World”) to discuss the comic they will be publishing with Devil’s Due - “Rest,” which hypothesizes what would happen in a sleep-deprived world.

The story of the comic will focus on the dangerous tale of a man drawn into a conspiracy between a malevolent pharmaceutical company and the U.S. government. The design of the main character is inspired by Ventimiglia’s likeness, and the story itself comes from the mind of screenwriter Mike O’Sullivan, which is where we begin our interview.
